1. Curd + Ginger +Onion
Onions played a significant role in cholesterol level. This helps to maintained high HDL cholesterol levels and thereby reducing LDL cholesterol levels. Raw Onions are more benefit than cooked ones. So while making Onion for Cholesterol, we can add curd and ginger too which doubles its effectiveness for reducing bad cholesterol.
Steps to Use:

2. Garlic
Garlic is one of the best remedies for lowering bad cholesterol. Take one or two garlic in the empty stomach in morning time. This not only reduces bad cholesterol but also helps to reduce weight to those who are suffering from Obesity.
3. Punarnava ( Thazhuthama or Boerhavia diffusa( Scientific Name ) )
Punarnava leaves have so many health benefits. It must be there in our home garden.We all not aware about the medical benefits of this plant. A decoction made of Punarnava leaves (Thazhuthama kashayam) helps to reduce bad cholesterol.
Steps to Use:
1. Wash the Punarnava leaves.
2. Grind it into paste.
3. Boil three cup of water.
4. Add the above paste into it.
5. Stir it well and allow then to boiling.
6. Add some amount of dried ginger into it.
7. Keep them sometime for boiling.
8 After that keep them for cooling.
Serve 25 ml or half glass of kashayam in morning and night before food. Continue this in one month and check the cholesterol level, definitely it will give result.
